Ambassador Michael Ussery -

For more than three decades, former U.S. Ambassador Michael Ussery has led major investments and development projects in East Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Ussery has founded numerous companies and non-profit organizations; and is a strategic advisor to and board member of leading corporations and start-ups. In 2018, the US State Department awarded him the “Senior Advisor” contract to launch the new Conflicts and Stabilization Operations Bureau.
Previously, Ambassador Ussery served on the Board of Directors of D’Sal Inc. desalination, Mongolia Holdings, Dignity Medical Products, Medica BG medial equipment, and Safe Security (Iraq). Ambassador Ussery is President of CAUA, which analyzes, plans and organizes American universities overseas including projects in Afghanistan, Mongolia, Romania, Albania, Malta, Morocco and Jordan.
Ussery was appointed by President Reagan in 1988 to be U.S. Ambassador to Morocco, at that time the youngest serving U.S. Ambassador. He was re-appointed by President Bush in 1989 and confirmed unanimously 98 – 0 by the U.S. Senate.
